Care Instruction For Your New Tattoo:

3 items you need to heal your tattoo properly: Antibacterial soap, unscented lotion with no SPF, and clean paper towels. I advise having only these 3 items come in contact with your fresh tattoo, avoid additional lotions, goos, salves, cleaners, etc.

Take the bandage off after 1-2 hours. Upon removal wash your tattoo (with your hand only) with antibacterial soap and warm water. Lightly pat dry with a clean soft paper towel. Use paper towels to dry your tattoo after washing, versus other options like bath towels, etc, which may not be completely sanitary.

For larger tattoos or more sensitive areas a hot towel compress will help with swelling and discomfort. Turn your faucet on as hot as it will go and run a paper towel under in. Immediately apply the paper towel to your tattoo and leave it on until it cools. The first couple seconds will sting, but as the towel cools off it helps pull lymph fluid and impurities out of your tattoo, making it heal quicker and cleaner. Do this 2-3 times, then follow with a nice cool compress. This is good to do only for the first few days of healing, before tha scab has started to form, after that be sure to discontinue.

The first night of your new tattoo it is advisable to sleep with the tattoo covered, you can loosly wrap in plastic and adhere with tape. Be sure to unwrap and clean with antibacterial soap when you wake up, and do not rewrap your tattoo after this time.

A tattoo takes about 2 weeks to heal completely. During the healing time wash your tattoo 2-3 times a day with antibacterial soap to prevent infection. After 48 hours you can start to apply a small amount of non-scented lotion. Be sure to let your tattoo dry out between lotion applications. A little goes a long way, over applying lotion might actually prolong the healing process, so be sure not to over do it. If any product you choose causes your skin to sting, become hot or itchy, discontinue use immediately and wash your tattoo. Allow your skin to breath for several hours before applying any other product. If you work in an environment that will get the tattoo dirty during the healing process wear loose clothes that will cover and protect it. Avoid tight clothing of any kind directly covering or rubbing against your tattoo.

Pay close attention to swelling. If any area of or around the tattoo starts to swell more than a little take care to apply ice (in a plastic bag with paper towel barrier on the outside) or other cooling (cooling gel pack, etc) to bring swelling down. If you can take an anti-inflammatory (NSAID) like Ibuprofen, Aleve, etc. (consult your doctor if you are unsure) that can also assist in reducing inflammation. It’s important to keep excess swelling at bay as in rare instances it can result in faint ink migration appearing after your tattoo is healed, which can appear as a permanent light bruising in appearance.

Avoid swimming, soaking in the bath or prolonged immersion in water. Avoid sunbathing, tanning or overexposure to the sun or UV rays. Don’t scratch or pick the healing tattoo or try to shave the tattooed area until it is completely healed.

Once your tattoo is healed keep it looking it’s best by wearing sunscreen. Good care of your tattoos will increase their longevity and your enjoyment!

Care Instruction For T-Shirts:

T-Shirts are 100% Cotton material with water-based discharge ink. For best results machine wash cold with like colors or hand wash. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Shirt will shrink when dried in the dryer, so hang dry if you are looking for as little shrinkage as possible.

Care Instructions for Enamel Pins:

It's a pin, so really there's not that much to say as far as care instructions go. Put it on your favorite leather or denim jacket is my fave way to sport em. Make sure the backing clutch is firmly attached. If you put the pin on a jacket or hat it will probably get less fucked up than if you put it on your bag. Don't forget that it's on something and accidentally put it through the wash. Wipe it with a soft damp cloth if you get something on it. Use common sense and enjoy.

Care Instructions For Tattoo Machines:

"Top Hat" style grommet

setup

Thicker rubber band

I find that my Ally machines seem to perform best when using a combination of "Top Hat" style grommets with thicker rubber bands (or an extra regular band should you not have the thicker variety). Your machine should have shipped with a sample of both of these for you to reference.

Please use only the minimum sterilizing disinfectant needed when cleaning your machine. Your machine has been given a coating of "Renaissance Wax" that provides a completely clear, hard, protective finish. A very light coat, applied occasionally and buffed to a shine will help resist moisture and protect the finish on your machine.
